On the 11th of Sha’baan 1432, corresponding to the 12th of July 2011, our respected Shaykh, Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel (Rahmatullahi ‘alayh) departed from this earthly abode.

The compounded honour that was found in Hazrat Maulana’s mubarak death only reflected and gave testimony to a life spent in obedience to Allah Ta’ala and His Rasul Sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam. Alhamdulillah, Hazrat Maulana had completed his visit to Madinah Munawwarah, had completed the rites of ‘Umrah, and a day later, completed a Nafl Tawaaf after Asr.

After the Maghrib Salaah, on the Mataaf, engaged in Dua, Hazrat Maulana’s soul departed. Subhanallah. As is said: “You will be resurrected as you die and you will die as you lived.”
